Coolbet Open Day 4: Ragnar Dominates Deepstack, Henri Käsper Claims Third CBO Trophy

Day 4 of the 2025 Coolbet Open is in the books and what a day it was! Ragnar Bjarnason claimed the Deepstack Championship, a local legend took down the PLO Turbo, and there was plenty of action in the main event.

Main event action

The second starting day of the main drew significantly more entries than day 1A. When the dust settled, there were 265 entries, of which 107 advanced to day 2. Teppo Iivari Kalevi Kurvinen bagged the biggest stack with 216.000, just ahead of fellow Finn Kai Tapio Tiainen at 210.500, with Norway’s Monica Eilertsen Vaka close behind on 195.000.

Deepstack Championship - Ragnar Reigns

Ragnar Þór Bjarnason came into day 2 as the chipleader and never let up. He powered through to the final table and when it came down to three players, a deal was struck. Ragnar walked away with the title, the biggest prize, and the trophy - a well-earned finish for a solid performance.

The €220 H.O.R.S.E. event drew 62 entries and went all the way to the early hours. The last four players agreed on a deal, with Finland’s Aku Ilari Laajus claiming the slightly bigger slice of the prize - and the trophy - for €2.195. The others also left with impressive payouts above €2.000.

PLOcal legend Henri Käsper

The €220 Pot Limit Omaha event had 62 entries and Estonia’s own Henri Käsper came out on top. A five-time Estonian champion, Henri defeated Finland’s Linda Madleena Lahdenpää to claim the title. This marked Henri’s third Coolbet Open trophy, after winning two in 2018.

Daily events winners

The daily single re-entry saw another deal made with Janne Marko Johannes Siljamäki taking the trophy and a €2.100. The late-night Leffern’s hyper turbo was won by Edd-Christian Gerhardsen for €3.300. We hope he got a good night's sleep after that, as today Edd-Christian will come back to day 2 of the main event as the chipleader, so a long day ahead is expected!

Today’s schedule

With all the action happening, you might think the best is behind us—but you couldn’t be further from the truth. Today we’re turning the excitement up to 11, with a packed schedule of events.

The main event takes center stage at 12:00, with cards in the air. Late registration is still open for one hour, so there’s time to join in!

Mix-game enthusiasts surely circled today, 15 August, on their calendars. We’re hosting not one, not two, but three major mix-game tournaments. At 18:00, the widely loved 8-Game kicks off. At 19:00, the Pot Limit Omaha Mystery Bounty begins, playing down to the money today before finishing tomorrow. And at 22:00, the immensely popular Sviten Special starts, another thrilling 2-day event.

The Ladies Event goes live at 20:00. Yesterday, five players earned tickets through the satellite, and many more are expected to join.

For those who prefer no-limit hold’em and aren’t in the main or Ladies Event, we’ve got you covered. At 21:00, the NLH Supreme starts, with the first two levels at 60 minutes each before turning into a turbo freezeout. There’s also the daily single re-entry at 15:00 and AcerZiggy’s Hyper Turbo at 23:00.
